Spilling out onto the pavements of Tel Aviv sit the Abraxsas diners, setting the street alive with the laughter and merriment enjoyed by the eating and drinking from this vibrant restaurant.
Abraxsas is simply a dining experience, created by chef Eyal Shani through the open plan style of this restaurant. There is nowhere to hide, as his kitchen staff busily prepare the plates of food, the bar staff pour copious glasses of beer and wine and the atmosphere gets livelier by the minute, as everyone is out to enjoy the experience.
The menu changes daily, to showcase that the produce used in every dish is the freshest that it can be and to reflect this, everything is simply cooked to ensure the flavour shines through. The whole baby cauliflower is grilled, with no more that a coat of fragrant spices to enhance its subtle taste, lamb chops are served pink with roasted vine tomatoes and the bananas in dulce de leche brings the meal to its sweet end perfectly, and all served in disposable dishes. Abraxsas believes in using only paper and cardboard boxes to serve its food, a sign of it's eco-friendly ideals and a way of saving time and energy on washing up....
Abraxsas is all about sharing; the tapas style food, a glass of wine in the bar overseeing the great chefs at work and the lively atmosphere, making it an enjoyable culinary experience.
