Rustico brings 'a slice of Italy' to Tel Aviv with it's reasonably priced, high quality Italian food, suitable for all the family.
Italians all over the world, like Israeli's believe that it is the love of good food that brings people together and with it's casual feel and friendly service, Rustico is developing a name for itself as a restaurant for lovers of the excellent Italian cuisine.
Thinly slices of aged beef fillet simply dressed with olive oil and lemon and topped with Parmigiano and rocket leaves or the oven roasted aubergine, topped with marinated red peppers, fresh oregano and feta, get you off to a good start, particularly when served with Rustico's freshly baked warm sour dough.
The main courses are just as deserving of praise. The stone baked pizzas with simple, rustic toppings and the home made pasta of varying shapes and sizes with delicious Italian sauces and lashings of grated Parmigiano, all beautifully executed and every mouthful as warming and as flavoursome as the last. Fish of the day and meat are also available as are risottos, gnocchi, lasagne and cannelloni, but it is the authentic pasta and pizza that wins every time.
Gelato and coffee are available at the end of the meal, if you have any room left and with the friendly service, warm atmosphere and not over priced, Rustico is a great eatery for everyone who enjoys Italian food.
