Tucked away behind beautiful trees and shrubs, on a residential street just off Ben Yehuda, sits Cafe Xoho. This vegetarian café with plenty of vegan options, is full from 07.30 every morning, Sunday through to Thursday. With a modest, rustic charm and colourful exterior, the little wooden tables and iron chairs blend in perfectly with the tiled floor of the usually occupied outside space.
Inside is buzzing with orders being taken and served by the friendly, attentive staff. On the creative vegetarian menu are options to make some of the delicious food vegan, with daily specials, written on the blackboards inside and out.
Healthy, nourishing smoothies and freshly squeezed juices are Xoho's specialities to set you up for the day. The food is of an excellent standard, well cooked and serving hearty portions of soft toasted brioche, with beautifully scrambled egg and topped with a light potato and bay salad, all accompanied with crunchy cucumber and radishes and a mustard dressing.
This is a delightful, quirky little café, well worth a visit for breakfast or a lazy brunch...and reasonably priced too!!
