The Jewish food culture is about cooking and eating; whilst mindful of the traditions and laws of the religion.

Jewish cuisine has become the very concept of diversity, by encompassing and embracing the distinctive styles of both Ashkenazic and Sephardic food and celebrating their culinary traditions throughout the Jewish year.

Food has significance, to a greater or lesser degree in every Jewish festival, showcasing its origins, the reasons for the specific ingredients and in some cases the explanation for the particular method of cooking.
